Maria experienced for many years the painful struggle of trying to access her inner confidence and to connect to her deep longing and purpose, to live life to her full capacity. She knows the pain of the belief that all she could expect was to be looking after other’s needs as if she had no right to her own. She lived under the misconception that she shouldn't shine herself, in case it caused other people to feel bad about themselves. She remembers the shame and suffering of feeling inadequate and unworthy, keeping that shame a secret from others, even closest friends. The visceral experience of 'not being allowed' to break through the inner glass ceiling she had subconsciously believed was her destiny was a strong force and burden to bear.
Through Feminine Power’s programs and training, Maria has gradually transformed those old false beliefs and has burst into a life of abundance, of joy, of deeply ‘getting her groove on’ in an empowering way. She is inspired and impassioned to help others to find their own North Star, the reason for wanting to jump out of bed in the morning (yes, it’s true!), so that you are fully living your life the way you long to.
She is celebrated for her extraordinary capacity for compassion, warmth, and the way she creates a safe space for her clients. She cares deeply about others, people who feel a dissatisfaction with the way their life is going but might feel powerless to do anything about it or uncertain where to turn to make it better. There may be a sense of desperation to move beyond that lack of confidence, that sense of being stuck and discouraged, a longing to find purpose and meaning in their lives, the discomfort of feeling something is lacking in their life.
Maria’s unique gifts include intuitively guiding people, feeling deeply into their struggles, empathising with and fully supporting them to grow and expand, seeing their greatness and feeling powerfully into their potentials even when they cannot. As their coach and workshop leader she inspires them to access their amazing empowered self that can move mountains, well and truly getting their groove on!
Maria worked with disadvantaged people for many years, including special needs children and adults, long-term unemployed, and people with mental health issues. She became a professional Yoga Teacher in 2009 because she loved to inspire and help people to connect to their bodies and souls in a healthy way, and has since been teaching yoga via classes and workshops to hundreds of people over the years. She trained to become a Dance and Movement Psychotherapist, graduating in 2019 because she felt that even her beloved yoga teaching did not reach the full potentials which she saw, unrealised, in others.
